AASV Poster Sessions
The information below is intended for those whose abstracts have been selected for poster presentation in the 2021 AASV Annual Meeting (see "Calls for Abstracts" at aasv.org/annmtg for abstract submission due dates and details).
The Veterinary Student, Research Topics, and Industrial Partners Posters will be available for attendees to view beginning Saturday, February 27th at 1:00 pm CST and remain available through April 30, 2021. Poster presenters are required to register for the meeting and must be present with their poster (virtually) for Q&A chat from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CST on Sunday, February 28.
The poster content must reflect the title listed in the program, but is not limited to the information submitted in the proceedings paper. That is, additional text, tables, figures, and photographs that were not included in the written paper MAY be included on the poster.
Poster Preparation and Submission: due February 1
1) Posters must be submitted as a 1-page PDF file, to be uploaded to the conference site before February 1.

2) OPTIONAL: You have the option to record and upload a brief (maximum of 3 minutes) oral presentation to accompany your poster

3) AASV will upload a formatted copy of your proceedings paper prior to the meeting.
Poster Presenter Preparation and Responsibilities
1) Plan to attend the Know Before the Show Webinar on February 12 at 2:00 pm CST or watch the recording to learn how to navigate the meeting site and interact with attendees through the chat during the designated presentation time.
2) The Poster Presentation session will be held Sunday, February 28 from 12:00-1:00 pm CST. On the day of the session:
- Log into the site well in advance of the session to make sure you have no access issues.
- Monitor the chat during the designated time to engage with attendees and answer questions.
Veterinary Student Poster Competition
Fifteen student poster presentations will be selected to compete for scholarship awards ranging from $200 to $500, sponsored by United Animal Health. Judging of the posters will take place from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, February 13. Current details are available at aasv.org/annmtg/2021/postercomp.htm.
